SMS Gateway Setup

You may set up an SMS gateway to send manual or automatic SMS notifications to your individual clients, groups, or credit officers.
To set up an SMS gateway, you must be an admin. For more information, see Creating a User - Type.
Creating an SMS gateway account
The first step is to create an account with an SMS gateway.
Setting up your SMS gateway in Mambu
After registering with a supported SMS gateway, set it up in Mambu.
To setup your SMS gateway in Mambu:
- On the main menu, go to Administration > SMS > Settings. The Settings tab is only visible to admins.
- Using the SMS Gateway dropdown, select the SMS gateway you want to use.
- Enter all the necessary information. See below for more information on the form fields.
- Select Save Changes.
After you set up your SMS gateway, a Notifications tab will appear next to the Settings tab under Administration > SMS.
The SMS gateway is now activated and you can start sending messages to your individual clients, groups, or credit officers. We recommend running campaigns internally using a sandbox to test the functionality before going live.
Form fields to set up your SMS gateway
Form fields for Infobip
|Base URL||To see your base URL, log in to the Infobip API Resource hub with your Infobip credentials. Once logged in, on all pages you should see your base URL in this format:
|Account Username||The Account SID is a 34 character account identifier starting with
|Account Password||The 32-character Auth Token you receive this when creating your Infobip account.||Yes|
|Phone Number||The phone number you provided to Infobip during account setup.||Yes|
