Mambu uses an automated system to apply calculated, distributed and approved profits in profit sharing. Manual profit application is not supported currently, but it is under consideration. The automated application process follows these steps:
- Profit is approved and the Proposal status becomes "Approved"
- The profit application process is initiated by the system.
- The system performs an automated check to verify your account details and account status.
- Profit is applied using the transaction type "Profit applied".
- Profit is applied using on account based on the schedule, at the end of the payment cycle of each account.
- Profit is applied using a backdated transaction type "Profit applied", or the transaction is scheduled to the future.
- If some proposal accounts will not be applied with the profit, the proposal status will become "Approved" and the proposal will be maintained in the list of "Closed" proposals.
- Once all the proposal accounts have been applied with the profit, the proposal status will become "Applied".
- Profit can be applied on the last day of payment cycle 23:59:59 or on the next day 00:00:00. These options are configurable in the product settings.
